Chronicles of Kanedo: The Sanctuary of Echoes

Exploring the lore of Kanedo's surviving bell tower and the initial covenant of the Returning Hall.

Concept / WIP

Long before the Unsealing began, Kanedo stood as a sanctuary of refuge amidst misty mountain terraces. Its bells were forged not of ordinary bronze, but infused with the resonant sediment of the earliest covenants.

When travelers approach Kanedo today, the echoes of the bell still linger across the moss-covered flagstones. For the Returned, it remains the first sound heard upon returning from the veil of death.
